Emergency Repairs to (4) 200' × 15'- 6" Radial Brick Chimneys
When New York City Sanitation Engineers identified damage to roof covers and hazardous conditions at their Southwest Brooklyn and Hamilton Avenue Incinerator Plants, Gibraltar Chimney International was contracted to perform Emergency Repairs.
During one of this years most severe weather periods; which included wind gusts in excess of 45 mph. and wind chill factors of 25° below zero; Gibraltar Chimney International responded within 24 hours to address the situation. GCI identified the extent and nature of the problem, secured the loose covers and implement repairs designed to prevent the problem from reoccurring.
