Erection of a 300' × 12'-4"Ø Dual Wall Stack
As a part of environmental improvement efforts, Cargill Fertilizer contracted Warren Environment Inc. to design and build a 300' tall odor stack at their facility south of Tampa, Florida
Gibraltar Chimney erected the dual wall stack whose design included a 317L stainless steel liner, A-36 steel shell with an epoxy finish coating, service platforms and aviation obstruction light system. The structure was erected in six sections using a Grove HL-150T lattice boom truck crane with 170' of main boom and a 160' luffing jib section that was re-configured twice to reach the 330' tip height.
