Their solution was the construction of a new plant powered by a Deltak HRSG unit. Gibraltar Chimney was contracted to erect both of the 200' X 12'Ø exhaust and by-pass stacks for GE Power Systems and Deltak. The congested site necessitated sharing the 500-ton hydraulic crane with the general contractor, Nicholson and Hall, Inc. of Buffalo, New York. Working in tandem, the project was completed on time and within budget. The stacks were set in (3) sections, with the largest lift being approximately 70,000 lbs. |
